Boys eat dirt
It is what they do. These pictures were taken about 3 minutes apart. They really don't do him justice as he was covered in dirt when I looked down! Where was I while Trey was happily scarfing down some good dirt? Right next to him, obviously not paying much attention.
Enjoy your coffee and happy Friday!

Wow-
I bet that was a fun diaper to change later!
By the way, boys also eat rocks, pennys, marbles, bird poop and bugs if they can get them to hold still long enough. Then, once they are done eating them, they stick them up their noses.
Aren't you glad you have a son!? Boys are so much fun!
peace and love,
Sandy
That is too funny. But I will add (being a boy) that dirt can taste pretty good occasion.
Dirt is a good food group. I'm pretty okay with dirt. It's the already-been-chewed-by-someone-else gum and the licking the shopping cart handles that I have a problem with.
I'm so happy for you both, CJ. Can't wait to see you on this side of the world! Love, T.
I AM drinking a cup of coffee while I'm looking at today's entry!!! Brings back GREAT memories to all of us who have boys who no longer eat dirt, but definitely did at one time!!!! Too cute!!! And look at those great teeth Mr. Trey has!!! You're getting the BEST photos Cindy!!! Keep it up! Enjoy the weekend...I think you said you were going to get out and about this weekend. Well, I know I'll have a lot of catch up in "blog reading" when we get back from DC --I'm really hoping while I'm gone you'll get closer to getting that I600!! Love ya! LIZZY
Dirt? I would say that would taste WAY better than snake blood. It's all relative I guess.
Well, this is your first lesson in "Great Parenting!". You can't protect them from everything. They will learn a lot on their own - even when you don't want them to. Just get some good stain remover and a good toothbrush (love the teeth, by the way). Enjoy the fun!

HA! Brings back memories of when I glanced down at Justin when he was Trey's age. He had a 2inch slug in his mouth. Nice..but I do agree with your friend who says it is better than snake blood....
Great pictures! Can't wait to meet Master Trey and give you a hug for all you have endured (and have yet to endure!) Welcome to the sisterhood of mommyhood!
Love

Too funny...but look at the enlarged image of the dirt picture...what IS that green thing? Gum? a worm?...probably some good protein!!!!!
What a doll! Boys rock and are so much fun to raise (not that I am biased or anything!)They have an extra special bond with their moms, too :)
You're amazing. Miss you and look forward to having you and the little buddy home.
Popko :)
